Writing의 기본기는 Diary Writing으로

언어세상의 오픈 세미나는 주로 매주 금요일인데 화요일날 하는 특강 형식의 강의가 있어서 다녀왔습니다.

강사님이 라이팅에 대해서 꼭 하고 싶은 말은 KISS - Keep It Super Simple - 이었죠.

 

타이틀은 ' Writing의 기본기는 Diary Writing으로'였어요.

Writing Steps >

1. Learinging Basic Sentence Structure

* Part of Sentence를 먼저 알자

- Subject and Nouns, Verb and Adverbs, Adjectives, Predicaties, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Interjections.

우리가 품사라고 말하는 것을 먼저 알아야 한다.

2. Increasing Vocabulary and Spelling

new words + seplling rules, definitions

새로운 단어와 스펠링 규칙(파닉스 규칙)과 문장부호

사전 찾기를 통해서 사전 찾는 방법도 함께 가르치자

* more complex sentences - short stroies/essarys/lettter/poetry

더 많은 다양한 글감들을 통해서 어휘와 스펠링을 늘려야 한다.

3. Increasing Knowledgy of Grammartical Rules.

rules + 여러 장르의 글 읽히기

4. Introducing

- fiction, Non-fiction, Poetry, Essays, Letters, Notesl, Narratives, Book report, Emails → Different Structures, Purpose

먼저 자신의 아이가 위의 다섯 가지 중에 어디에 속하는지를 먼저 살펴보고 가는 시간이었어요.

 

Types of family Writing > 온 가족이 함께 할 수 있는 글쓰기

1. List Writing - do to list, shippin lists, invitation list → Remember things, Get things done

2. Notes - memo → reminders to themselves, making observations

tip, idea basket - 메모지에 생각난 것 적기

3. Letters and emails - writing to 할머니, 할아버지/ 사촌/ 아빠와 엄마 ← 답장필수

4. Birthday and sepcial Event Books(방명록) - guests or family members share a special wish, a kind thought, favortie memory of the special person

5. Parodies(패러디) - controlled writing - 광고문구, 신문기사, 헤드라인

6. Journal / Diaries 특징 - more formal, regular writing. summerize and reflect on the significant events

              → a continued series of writing in response to their experimences and events

 

Journals VS Diaries >

Journals = Diary (description of daily events)+ 알파(understanding, reclections, emotions)

 

영어일기 쓰는 방법>

1. 날짜 쓰기

1) 요일, 월, 일, 연도, 날씨 순서

2) 날짜를 서수로 표현하기도 함

3) 월과 요일은 편의상 약자로도 씀

 

2) 날씨 표현

맑음: fine, fair, clear, beautiful, bright, cloudless, sunny

흐림 : cloudy, overcast, gloomy, dull

비  : rainy, a light[heavy, occastional]rain, a show, a drizzle

눈 : snowy, a light [heavy] snow

바람 : windy, foul, stormy, nasty

추움: cold, chilly, cool

더움: warm, hot, sultry

기타 : misty, foggy, frosty, sleety

 

3) 영어일기의 종류

-하루 일과 나열하기, 감사일기, 꿈일기, 그림/사진일기, 여행 일기, 영화감상/독서일기, 편지 일기, 일기 따라쓰기

 

4) 영어일기 써 보기

 - 6WH ( who, when, where, what, how, why)

 

5) Tips for Writing Diaries

* 부담 없이 시작할 수 있는 글쓰기 형식을 정하자

* 많이 읽고 베껴 써 본다

* 일기 한 편에 꼭 한 주제로만 일기를 쓴다

* 되도록이면 'I'를 매일, 처음에 쓰지 않도록 한다

* 일어난 일을 쓰되 사실보다 느낌과 생각을 많이 쓴다

* 번역은 NO!

*  지금 당장 쓰기 시작한다
